What Our Clients Have to say

Demolition Faqs

Demolition is the process of destroying something such as a warehouse or property. Demolition is usually carried out when a particular property is no longer in use and is going to be transformed into something else. It may also occur when a building is hazardous and needs to be removed.
Planning permission will likely be required for demolition in the UK, but it does depend on where and how large the property is. It’s worth speaking with demolition experts like RE Hill & Son before going ahead with any demolition projects to avoid legal trouble.
Many things can be done to protect contractors during demolition. Firstly the correct PPE should be worn – eye, face, hand, head, foot protection alongside respiratory and hearing protection. A trained first aider should always be present and the correct training and qualifications are required to access the site.
